Thank you for choosing DentaLotus. To ensure the longevity of your treatment and to keep your warranty valid, please follow these professional aftercare guidelines and review our warranty terms carefully.
1. POST-OPERATIVE CARE (IMMEDIATE)
For Implant Patients
- Do Not Spit: Avoid spitting for the first 48 hours to protect the blood clot and ensure proper healing.
- No Straws: Avoid using straws for at least 7 days; the suction force can disturb the surgical site.
- Bleeding: Slight oozing is normal. If needed, bite firmly on a clean gauze pad for 30 minutes.
- Swelling: Apply an ice pack to the outside of your face (20 mins on, 20 mins off) for the first 24 hours.
For Full-Mouth Restoration Patients
- Soft Food Diet: You must stick to a soft food diet (mashed potatoes, yogurt, smoothies) for the first 6–8 weeks.
- No Pressure: Avoid any hard, crunchy, or chewy foods until your dentist confirms that bone healing is complete.
- Head Elevation: Keep your head elevated while sleeping for the first 48 hours to minimize swelling.
2. LONG-TERM AFTERCARE & HYGIENE
- Night Guard Use: Please wear your prescribed night guard every night to protect your new restorations from the effects of bruxism (teeth grinding).
- Oral Hygiene: Brush twice daily with a soft-bristled brush and use interdental brushes or a water flosser as demonstrated by our team.
- Avoid Smoking: Smoking significantly reduces the success rate of implants and can void your warranty.
3. WARRANTY TERMS
At DentaLotus, we stand behind our clinical excellence. To maintain the validity of your warranty, the following terms apply:

Conditions for Warranty Validity:
- Annual Check-ups: You must have a professional dental check-up and cleaning at least once a year.
- Night Guard Compliance: If a night guard was prescribed, it must be worn every night.
- Trauma & Neglect: The warranty does not cover damage caused by external trauma (accidents), neglect, or systemic diseases that affect oral health.
- External Intervention: Any dental work or adjustments performed by a clinic other than DentaLotus without our prior consent will void this warranty.
